1. About These Terms

Marketing In Action ("MIA", "we", "us", or "our") is operated by Marketing In Action Hub Limited (RC 9179450), a company registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Marketing In Action website (marketinginaction.xyz), its subdomains, and all products and services we offer.

By accessing or using our website or purchasing any of our products or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Services

Marketing In Action provides:

  • MIA Newsletter: Free marketing insights delivered by email.
  • MIA Academy: Paid educational products, including self-paced courses, handbooks, template and prompt libraries, cohort-based bootcamps, mentorship programs, and corporate and team training. Current programs include Digital Income Made Easy (DIME), the Product & Growth Marketing with AI Bootcamp, the Complete Product Marketing and Tech Sales courses, the Online Marketing Mentorship and individual workshops for business owners, and our template, prompt, and handbook libraries.
  • MIA Services: Professional services for businesses and teams across two lines: Product Marketing and go-to-market (GTM) consulting, and Paid Acquisition and growth systems. These are offered on a per-call, project, advisory, retainer, fractional, or done-for-you basis, as stated on each service page and any accompanying agreement.
  • Done-For-You Services: Productized done-for-you services such as DIME Done-For-You, done-for-you paid acquisition and growth systems, and the Business Owner's done-for-you online marketing, delivered under the terms published on each product page and any accompanying agreement.
  • MIA Resources: Free and paid marketing templates, frameworks, playbooks, and tools.
  • MIA Jobs: Job listings and career opportunities in marketing.

Product names, contents, availability, and prices may change over time. The product page at the time of your purchase governs what you receive.

3. Accounts and Access

Some products are delivered through third-party platforms (such as Selar) that may require you to create an account. Where you hold an account with us or a delivery platform, you must:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

Access to paid products is granted upon successful payment. Access duration (for example, lifetime access, a fixed term, or an annual subscription) is stated on each product page. Accounts and access are for individual use only and may not be shared, resold, or transferred unless we expressly permit it.

4. Refunds and Guarantees

Our products carry different refund terms and guarantees. The guarantee published on a product's page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase. Where a product offers a specific written guarantee, that guarantee governs. Where no specific guarantee is published, the general policy in this section applies.

Product-specific guarantees (summary)

This summary is provided for convenience only. The full terms on each product page control.

  • DIME (Digital Income Made Easy): 30-day first-sale guarantee. Complete the program, do the work, and if you do not make your first sale within 30 days, request a full refund and keep your bonuses.
  • DIME Done-For-You: Delivery guarantee, not an earnings guarantee. We deliver a finished, sellable product within 14 days of receiving your inputs, with revisions until it meets the build we agreed. What you earn depends on your market and effort.
  • Product & Growth Marketing with AI Bootcamp: 90-day job guarantee. Complete every module and assessment, and if you do not land a high-paying remote marketing job within 90 days, we continue working with you for free until you do. The guarantee is unlimited support duration, not a cash refund and not a specific salary, employer, country, or hire date.
  • Online Marketing Mentorship (Business Owners): 30-day money-back guarantee. Pick any one of the five workshops, implement it fully, and if you have not seen results after 30 days, send proof of your implementation and request a full refund.
  • Consulting and Done-For-You services: No results are guaranteed. We guarantee focused execution, transparent reporting, and ongoing optimization, and we keep working at no extra cost if a deliverable agreed in scope is delayed on our end.

General refund policy

  • Self-paced courses, handbooks, templates, prompt libraries, and other digital products are delivered instantly and access is granted on purchase. Except where a specific guarantee is published on the product page, or where a refund is required by applicable law, these purchases are non-refundable.
  • Where no specific guarantee applies, refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase and are considered at our discretion.
  • Fees for consulting and done-for-you services are paid in advance and are non-refundable once work on the engagement has begun.
  • All refund requests should be sent to support@marketinginaction.xyz with your order details and, where a guarantee requires it, proof of implementation.

5. MIA Consulting and Done-For-You Terms

  • Consulting and done-for-you engagements are governed by the terms published on the relevant product page and any separate service agreement or scope of work we agree with you.
  • Deliverables, timelines, scope, and payment terms are set out per engagement. Ad spend, where paid advertising is part of the work, is separate from our fees and is paid directly to the advertising platform.
  • Fees are billed in advance for each month or committed term. Engagements do not auto-renew or auto-charge; renewals are arranged and paid as a new invoice. Rates booked under a committed term are held for that term; renewals after the term are billed at the rate then in effect.
  • Confidentiality obligations apply to both parties.

6. Affiliate Program Terms

  • MIA operates a free-to-join affiliate program paying 40% commission on qualifying sales of MIA Academy bootcamps, courses, workshops, template libraries, and handbooks.
  • Consulting and done-for-you services are excluded from the affiliate program.
  • Commissions are attributed using a 180-day cookie window. If a referred visitor purchases a qualifying product within 180 days of clicking your unique link, you earn the commission, including where they buy a different qualifying product than the one you linked to.
  • Commissions are credited to your affiliate wallet after a completed sale, with Naira funds typically available the next day and no minimum payout. Commissions on refunded or charged-back orders may be reversed.
  • Affiliates must not use misleading claims, spam, paid search on our brand terms, self-referrals, or other deceptive or non-compliant practices to promote MIA products.
  • We may modify commission rates, attribution rules, or program eligibility, or pause or terminate the program, at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content we provide, including text, graphics, logos, course and program materials, recordings, templates, prompts, playbooks, and software, is owned by Marketing In Action Hub Limited or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Purchasing a product grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own personal or business use only.

What You May Not Do

  • Resell, sublicense, share, redistribute, or publicly post our paid materials.
  • Reproduce or repackage our materials as your own product or claim ownership of them.
  • Use our content to train, fine-tune, or build a competing product, model, or program.
  • Remove proprietary notices or circumvent access controls.

Templates, frameworks, and outputs you create for your own business using our resources are yours to use. Attribution is appreciated but not required for that work product.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose
  • Share account access with unauthorized users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Distribute malware or harmful code
  • Harass, abuse, or harm our team, members, or other users
  • Scrape, copy, or collect data from our properties without permission

9. Payment Terms

  • Academy prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (₦); consulting and some services may be quoted in US Dollars ($). The currency and price shown at checkout apply.
  • Payments are processed securely through third-party providers, primarily Selar and Paystack, which accept card, bank transfer, and USSD. Consulting and done-for-you fees may be invoiced for payment by bank transfer or card.
  • Payment is due in advance. Access or work begins once payment is confirmed.
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
  • Where a product page offers an instalment or split-payment option, the terms stated there apply.

10. Earnings and Results Disclaimer

Our products and services are educational and supportive in nature. Any income figures, case studies, or results shared by us, our team, or our members are illustrative and are not promises or guarantees of your results. Your outcomes depend on your effort, market, skills, and other factors outside our control. Except for the specific guarantees described in Section 4, we do not guarantee any particular income, job, sale, ranking, or business result.

11. Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party platforms to deliver products, process payments, and host communities (for example, Selar, Paystack, WhatsApp, and email providers). Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or availability of third-party services.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant:

  • Specific results from using our products or services
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • That all information provided is complete or accurate at all times

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marketing In Action Hub Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product or service is limited to the amount you paid us for that product or service.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Marketing In Action Hub Limited from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services or your violation of these Terms.

15. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including for breach of these Terms. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law provisions. The courts of Lagos State, Nigeria shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
